Отрицательные отзывы о фильме «Снежный город»

Why do I voluntarily choose to poison myself with disgust watching this disturbing and harrowing Snowtown film? Why did I add it on our rental list anyway? Festival winner? Critics choice? 5* review? Why the heck didn't I bother reading it?! One of the hardest and the grimmest films I've ever watched, and way too graphic! Spent the evening feeling sick to the core. I know it will take me a while to get some of the images out of my head. And the funny thing (not so funny actually) is that this film is based on real life events! Why do such violent and sadist monsters exist?! Give me a bucket - I'll puke! Stuck with it in hope that the story may end happily - (spoiler!) it doesn't. All this said, I do think that this was a great depiction of a truly horrendous events and it's a stunning piece of film making, very well shot and the actors truly inhibit their roles. The director made violence look as ugly as possible. Certainly not for the faint hearted! Have to rate this film, and it could be 1* as well as 5*.
